I hope that this page will serve as a genuine introduction to the way I work and a useful resource for models just entering the industry. There are many fine photographers and studios that I have worked with over the years but I have also seen the unsavoury side of the game. You would think it was obvious in some cases to avoid the pitfalls that too often become transparent through the eyes of enthusiastic beginners.

I strongly believe that anyone who is seriously promoting a model would not ask for any registration money up front. It's common sense that if a so called agency is going to take anyone on they would do so because they predict the model has potential in the first place. A promotional outfit is then more likely to thrive towards a models success to gain their reward.

I hear the same story nearly everyday from unsuspecting models that are lured into this delusion of grandeur that costs them the earth. There are never any promises in the entertainment's industry but it's worth making sure you have a good start at least, not just with Amber Models but with any other agency you are thinking of joining.

There are many excellent photographers that I personally recommend that provide results and don't charge a small fortune for their services. I have no intention of putting people off using reputable studios nor is it wrong for a top agency to recommend a trustworthy photographer. My point here is that I urge models to avoid parting with hundreds of pounds before they have even started.

As far as Amber Models is concerned I provide my photographic services as part of the promotional standards that we have here. That doesn't mean that this is an easy ride to a free photo shoot, the right attitude and determination has to be there, it's not just looks. I don't intend to photograph anyone that comes along just to make a fast buck I would rather be rewarded by promoting models that deserve it the best I can. This isn't some saintly gesture out of the blue, it's through past personal experience that I endeavour to help others. I sincerely hope that awareness will reach those who have the power to change things in the future.
