Simple approach after hundreds of ideas and designs

It's always a challenge to come up with a button design or banner that is going to represent a website let alone being restricted to a mere 16 x 16 format. After hundreds of ideas and designs the simple approach proved fruitful for the official Amber Models Photography - AMP favicon that will be used for a social media bookmark and as a standard favorite symbol in browsers and toolbars.


Fancy logos fell by the wayside when they were viewed in smaller format as did the popular Amber Models red swirl logo. Bold lines and an accumulation of the red, blue and yellow colors used on the AMP News site produced an outright winner. The finishing touch was to reduce the word, AMP, that originally nested on the yellow background to a single letter 'A'
