Personal Biography

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a music fiend. As a child, growing up with rock, prog and a lot of classical music, I was surrounded by constant inspiration to play and compose. I began playing cello at 7, and have lived and breathed music very since. However, it was a couple of years ago that I really found my place – playing guitar. I’ve always been inspired by the big personalities on guitar – Brian May (With Queen) being the first on that list, Frank Zappa coming in a close second. Anyone who can take an instrument that countless kids with a big dream have picked up, not knowing what to do, and can still create a unique experience for the audience – that’s my turn-on. I love to listen to music that makes me feel truly alive. That is where I’m going with my own music. I have a debut solo album in the pipe-line, currently in writing, and recording demos before I go into the studio in the next 6 months. A mixture of prog-rock, metal, soul and contemporary classical music, I’m putting it all in a bit pot, stirring it all up and serving it up in 40 minutes of guitar and vocal fun ; ) It’s gonna be an adventure – I’ll keep you posted! (I’ll put in my myspace address soon – haven’t got around to setting it up yet!)

My outlook on life runs alongside my philosophy on music – those who can do something should try to do everything. I’ve always seen achievement as an extension of your belief that anything is possible, and that concept is what keeps me moving toward my eventual goal. I just like to go out there and make it happen!

As far as modelling is concerned – I tend to look at it as a useful side-line. It’s a strange industry; a lot of fun, but not without it’s pit-falls. One cannot model a lot and be taken seriously doing anything else, unless you can prove yourself with ease, because people will assume you are vapid and rather empty headed. It’s a great laugh though, even if you do meet the odd unsavoury character! You just have to be careful and mindful of all that you do.
