Ipswich born, Darnell Swallow certainly made his mark in the Big Brother house and used it to further his musical endeavors. Darnell a 27 year old songwriter from London entered Big Brother series 9 and instantly caught the imagination of a Nation with his ethnically black albino look. After meeting this dynamic character it was hard to believe he was supposedly deported from St Louis in the USA after getting involved with gang culture. In reality a cool collect individual oozing an appreciative respect for everything around him.


Darnell or The Big D known to some of his devoted fans is rapidly proving some of the critiques completely wrong and gaining popularity votes from people that really count. Judging by the euphoric reception at a night club in Kings Lynn recently Darnell mania is on the up thanks to a line of song and video productions strategically released involving solo and collaborated projects.


RV and CO management gave AMP News exclusive access to cover The Kings Lynn show together with Miss Norfolk Gallaxy, Ann Marie Woodyatt. Darnell told Ann Marie during an interview that Big Brother was more of an awareness thing rather than the making of Darnell as a performer songwriter. Singing was in the blood long before Big Brother 9. Darnell smiled when he was asked what was the first thing he did when he left the Big Brother house "Anything any hot blooded male would do after being contained for all that time" He replied "As much as I would like to refrain from answering questions about Big Brother it becomes worth it when I get to meet people like Miss Norfolk Galaxy"


Debut music video releases include, Kisses Aren't Contracts, introducing rap duo Best of Both. The track is currently played on AKA Music Channel but to mention one, featuring rap duo Best of Both. Also starring Keisha Kane "Best Female Actress" at the UK Adult Film and Television Awards in 2008, as well as appearances from UK's Next Video Honey contestants, and plenty of beautiful women from all around the world. Kisses Aren't Contracts has created a bit of a stir and has sparked off hundreds of reviews across the net mainly by the 'We don't know what we're talking about but lets jump on the band wagon for the sake of it' brigade. AMP News has done it's research and can reveal the public love the track. The amount of star ratings and positive comments on You Tube alone speaks volumes. Darnell is a peoples person and musical enthusiasts across the UK have been pleasantly surprised with this highly polished music production.

Darnell's latest project sees him team up with T-mac and the beautiful Vanessa G forming the band DTV with an exclusive appearance by Ayo. RV and CO management opened it's doors for us once more while on location in Kings Lynn shooting pop video 'Make That Money' with crack production team Trail Pictures from London. The Norfolk location erupted into a frenzy of fast cars, hot models and media coverage, promising another treat for fans across the globe.
